Predator Tracker electronically automates the tracking and organization of your tools, gages and fixtures. Predator Tracker improves manufacturing processes and efficiencies with real-time check in & check out, tracking consumption rates, re-order levels, scrap, calibrations, certifications and re-work.

Real-time Check In and Check Out

Tools, cutters, inserts, kits, gages and fixtures can be checked in and out quickly and easily. Automatic selection of crib locations and serial numbers speed up the process. Add bar code readers to minimize errors and improve the process even further. Data collection during the checkout process is fully configurable with support for department, location, group, machine, job, part type, part, job and person.

Purchase requests with recommendations

Predator Tracker can provide recommended purchase request quantities based on minimum inventory levels per item. Wizards for purchasing, receiving, assigning crib locations, creating serial numbers, managing vendors and more are all included.

RFID and Bar Code Support

Balluff RFID chip/tag reading and writing is included to support RFID tools, holders, fixtures and gages. Bar code readers can be used within every Predator Tracker screen. Additional bar code support has been added to the Check In and Check Out screens. Predator Tracker supports all major bar code reader vendors. Support for Dymo label printers is also included to print individual labels, serial numbers and crib locations. Lists of bar codes can be printed on all laser and inkjet printers.

ISO 9000 History

Complete audit trail for every tool, gage, fixture and kit for the life of each serial number. Predator Tracker provides automatic history for every process. Nine security reports detail permissions, users and groups of users and their activities.

190+ Reports and Charts

Run the shop floor, CNC programming and overall business better via 190+ professional reports and charts such as inventory, checked-out items, purchase requests, gages due for calibration, material references, and more. Reports can be exported to PDF, Microsoft Excel or HTML.

Open API and database architecture

Integrate your ERP and MES system with Predator Tracker's open APIs (application programming interface) with 300+ methods all fully documented. Develop ERP and shop floor validation, flow part and job numbers from ERP directly into Predator and numerous other automation projects can be completed with C#, C++, VB.Net, VB6, VB script, Windows Script, Delphi and other compatible programming languages.

Predator Tracker is based on an open architecture client/server database standard. Select from Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle databases.

Windows application integration with ERP, MES or PLM

Predator Tracker can integrate with Windows based ERP, MES or PLM systems. Over a dozen different command line options can be used to share specific Predator Tracker screens, user credentials and database connections.
